For me growing up, I believed in a simple financial construct: The more money that you earned, the more money you. In other words, I believed that a high-income had a 1-to-1 correlation to wealth. Rich people were rich because they earned high incomes. I worked a year career in information technology. Our salaries were high. In this minute long TED-talk Paul reveals some rather nasty findings. This is scary as we know that most people who make the big decisions in our world are both wealthy and have high social status. For sure, having enough money to provide for our basic needs such as food and shelter is crucial. But, if Mr. To me it seems that people who already have lots of money and status should take a look in the mirror and evaluate how nice they are being to others. And, perhaps people whose main goal in life is to make money should think twice before pursuing such a goal. I think it depends on your character. Some are saying that owning a big amount of money shows, who you really are. But there are two points, that I was thinking of: the first thing is, that people always tend to get more. And today, some people are making money to make money to make money. There is no reason. Especially when the work you have to do for it is as virtual as it is today: online deals, selling virtual bank papers, etc. But there is a limit of legality you have to pass, to get to even more money. A lot of people, who absolutely want to make money for the sake of money, have to do illegal things to get there. And illegal things are actions, that hurt others.

Sure your health, family and friends are also important, but without money the quality of them will be much lower. It is a universal currency, never forget that. You really need to set it as your high priority. Most millionaires were born in middle class families.

A researcher has made a report that says having a lot of money makes you a bad person. Professor Paul Piff spent ten years looking at the personalities of rich people and found that their behaviour was very different to the behaviour of poor people. Dr Piff said rich people are more likely to break rules, not follow the law, and not care about other people. He also said wealthy people cheat more at games and are less likely to help other people. Professor Piff told the BBC that: «Wealth makes you more [worried about] your own interests, your own desires, your own welfare. Professor Piff also found that poorer people are more generous than rich people. The poor give a higher percentage of their money to help others than the rich. He said poorer people give one-and-a-half times as much as richer people.
